Ministry of Peace Church
In 2002 Pastor Mitchell received his call to start the work and build MOPC. It was given in dreams/visions in MarchApril of 2002 and by October 2002 the work began. Subsequent Dreams/Visions continued through April 2004.
In April of 2003 the Ministry Of Peace was officially established as a subsidiary and the English ministry of the overseeing Spanish church of Iglesia Ambajadors De Dios. The Church was located at the Trinity Square Plaza on Eastern Avenue, George Town, Cayman Islands.
Over the next eight (8) years the Ministry Of Peace functioned in that capacity as a ministry of the Ambassadors Church of GOD (Spanish church) with Pastor Mitchell as it’s Lead Pastor.
In April 2011 Pastor Mitchell took the Ministry Of Peace out as it’s own Church and moved and rented a commercial unit in the said Trinity Square Plaza, Eastern Avenue, George Town, the Cayman Islands where it began.
MOPC remained there in George Town until the Plaza was sold in 2015. At that time with much prayers, we were led to move from there to West Bay, Pastor Mitchell’s home District.
GOD provided a fully functional Church building that had been functioning for some time and we held our first Service there on October 4th, 2015.
Over the years since the inception of this ministry, we have seen GOD hands at work building and leading the Ministry Of Peace Church on his timing fulfilling the Vision he gave to Pastor Mitchell beginning in March/April 2002.
Since 2014 GOD at the start of every new year/season has spoken a prophetic word to MOPC to be presented for that each year.
The current rhema prophetic word is; “2020 is the Year of true Worshippers”.
